A beautiful painting, as are the majority of your works on display here. I love the effect of this particular technique, like you I don't use it that often. I think in my case it is because I do not plan my watercolours well enough.
Thanks for the compliment. Regarding the technique, I don't think you have to plan your painting that much. As long as you leave dark areas somewhere, the buildings etc. can be put in almost as an afterthought.Best of luck with your paintings.Regards, Steven
