"Stormy Sky" watercolour painting

<<fcc3_10.jpg>>
After wetting the whole paper with a weak Raw Sienna wash I brushed in some Ultramarine where the sky breaks through the clouds.  The storm clouds were put in with a mix of Alizarin Crimson and Paynes Grey.

The distant hills were put in with the same cloud mix just before the sky had dried.  The trees behind the house were mainly made up of Lemon Yellow and Paynes Grey.

The foreground rocks were scraped in with a credit card after brushing in some dark colours.
