Tuscany in watercolour

Such a beautiful part of the world Tuscany, I'd love to go there one day.  I've managed to keep the foreground uncluttered for a change.  It's so easy to overdo it.

Looking at the blogs of all these oil painters, I think I'll have to invest in some oils soon and finally have a go.  I've only ever painted in watercolours before, mainly because it's so cheap to set up.

Must dash, I'm off to the International Food Fair in Brum for dinner!

Yes there is some good work in oils out there.

I'm trying to do as well with acrylics, because I don't have to have them standing around drying for so long. I'm not sure yet whether I can get such good results though.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. You make great landscape paintings. Great atmosphere! I'm curious what you think of working with acrylics or oil.
