This was based on an old black and white painting I saw in a book. I've tried to keep the colours as subtle as possible, again using just Raw Sienna, Vandyke Brown and Phthalo Blue.
The scene reminds me of somewhere around Coleshill, about 15 minutes drive from where I live. It's inspired me to drive up there and see what compositions I can find.

I really like these last two. The limited palette works well and there is a nice variety of textures.
I hope you find some subjects at Coleshill.
Thanks Keith. I've always prefered a limited palete. It's the same with photos, I usually prefer black and white to colour.
