'Brean Down' 8" x 6" Oil Painting on Canvas Board

<<a45e_10.jpg>>
I thought I'd try something a little different and painted this one with just a palette knife.  We spend a fair amount of time in Brean over the summer months.  I painted this one from memory.

Using just a knife dramatically reduces the amount of gear you need to carry around with you when painting.  I can fit pretty much everything in my little pochade box.

Why are you underestimated your work and put so low price on your paintings. It is very sad, because you have a lot of talent! Only oil colour cost like your 1 painting! It is not print of your work but as I understood original work and you need oil colour, canvas or paper and a lot of hours to finish it. And the price is 15 pounds afterwards! I cannot really believe!

Thanks Anon for your kind words. Regarding the prices, obviously in time I'd like to sell them for more. I've only been painting since 2006 and still have a lot to learn. I've only sold on eBay so far and it's difficult to command much money on what is little more than a car boot sale. Once I start to approach galleries, hopefully I can make bigger profits.
