Falmouth Docks 15 x 11 inches Watercolour Painting

Heavily influenced by a painting (unfortunately the artists name escapes me!) I saw on our recent trip to Cornwall, this is my watercolour version of Falmouth docks.  We last visited Falmouth a couple of years ago.  I remember standing at Pendennis Point in the glorious sunshine amongst the happy snappers trying to capture the panorama on camera.  Sales at http://www.stevencronin.com

Hi Steven I Like the the style of painting you have used and the colour. I represent artist who use a variety of medium. My personal favourite is watercolour. Was the painting completed from memory or photographs? I was drawn to the painting because I am returning to Cornwall for a holliday after not going since my childhood. Great work I look forward to returning to your site again.

Hi Nic
Thanks for the comments. The watercolour was inspired by a painting I saw by Benjamin Warner who is exhibiting in Falmouth at the Beside the Wave Gallery. His work was so amazing I couldn't resist trying my own version.
Regards, Steven.
