The Lochan, Dunoon 15" x 11" Watercolour Painting

Someone asked me if I had any paintings of the Dunoon area of Scotland.  After a brief search on Google images I found this view and quickly bashed out this loose watercolour impression.  Sales at http://www.stevencronin.com

You have captured the misty mountains in the distance very well Steven. You are a highland laddie! you get so much joy painting these bonny Scottish scenes.

I like the rich colours in this one. You do a great job of capturing the atmosphere. As Caroline says, you are really in tune with these subjects.

Thanks Caroline and Keith. There's certainly something magical about the landscape north of the border. Maybe I find it so fascinating because I've lived all my life in Birmingham and your neck of the woods is such a contrast to the landscapes from where I'm from. Once I can work out the logistics, I'm determined to get up there and see it for myself.
